Meet the Creator
Founder and Chief Creative Officer Maria Elizabeth is a dreamer and artist, of many forms, from the West Coast of Scotland. Maria’s work is inspired by nature, interiors, an array of European architecture and music (the latter deriving from her classical vocal degree). Whether it be couples, brands, venues or homes Maria approaches all of her collaborative work with kindness and guidance to ensure that both parties always feel safe yet inspired during her immersive and design-led process.
In addition to our portfolio of luxury and celebrity design clients, both domestic and international, Maria Elizabeth creates thoughtful, guide-focused design and lifestyle content for fans to replicate the Maria Elizabeth aesthetic on their own.
Maria’s perfect day would be: hiking a Scottish hill with a small group of loved ones who then afterwards cosy up in a beautifully designed quaint pub (by the beach) eating good food and listening to Scottish folk music. A true free spirit!

Here at Maria Elizabeth it is our mission to take life’s treasured moments and turn them into unique story-driven designs that make a sincere emotional impact on those most important to you. From your story, we shall create beautiful empathic memories, through stationery and event design, that will continue to echo for generations to come.

My relationship with art is one of love. The kind that is pure, passionate, vulnerable and wholehearted. My first love within the arts was with music. Growing up, I was blessed with a huge family from all walks of life thus being rich in stories. In awe of their tellings I would go home and transform their words into song as best I could, not knowing that years later it would take me to graduating from university with an honours in classical voice and composition.
After graduating, and many interesting sales and visual jobs in between, I decided to work as a Marketing and Events Coordinator for a Non-Profit. This job brought me some of the most incredible career achievements to date, such as meeting the Queen, but also some of the hardest personal experiences to date. And so, after months of feeling lost and years of feeling like I was born for solo artistic output, I decided to let fate take the wheel as I believed it was all happening for a reason. Then… the pandemic hit, I was made redundant and Maria Elizabeth Designs was born.
To paraphrase Maya Angelou - to love is to be brave. Since starting Maria Elizabeth, for me my love for creating your stationery, styling your tables and telling your love stories inspires me to be brave everyday. Maria Elizabeth Designs, quite simply, is the love that has set me free.
I am incredibly grateful that you are here and ready to embark on this journey together. With my love for art and your love for one another we shall create meaningful, detailed and elegant fine art stationery and styling that tells your story in the most authentic yet timeless way.
